Garth Brooks Announces Comeback After Giving It All Up For Fatherhood

After giving up global fame more than a decade ago to be a stay-at-home dad, Garth Brooks says he is ready for a comeback. Brooks was one of, if not the biggest country star of the 1990s.

Brooks destroyed country music touring records with his 1998 Capitol release “Sevens.” The three-year go-around grossed more than $105 million, which was country music’s first $100 million project, and drew close to 5.5 million people. Brooks charged just $20 per ticket.
