Feds File Charges Against NSA Whistleblower Edward Snowden

Federal prosecutors have filed a sealed criminal complaint against NSA secrets leaker Edward Snowden charging him with espionage, theft and conversion of government property, the Washington Post reported Friday.

UPDATE: There are reports that Edward Snowden is getting ready for a transport plane, which is currently on standby, to take him to Iceland. Iceland has been attempting to propose asylum to the NSA whistleblower since Edward Snowden first revealed himself to be the leaker.

The complaint was filed in the Eastern District of Virginia, the Post said.

Lonnie Snowden, veteran and father of Edward Snowden, recently gave a heartfelt interview with Fox News’ Eric Bolling, in which he pled with his son to stop releasing information and come home to face U.S. authorities.
