Mrs. Loeffler, a businesswoman turned junior senator, was appointed to the U.S. Senate by Republican Governor Brian Kemp in December 2019 after Senator Johnny Isakson, R-Ga., resigned for health reasons. She received 25.91% of the vote compared to 32.90% for Mr. Warnock on November 3.
