President Donald Trump called on Senator Jon Tester, D-Mont., to resign after unsubstantiated allegations he leveled against Admiral Ronny Jackson collapsed. Admiral Jackson, MD withdrew as the nominee for Secretary of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) amid the attacks.
“Allegations made by Senator Jon Tester against Admiral/Doctor Ron Jackson are proving false,” President Trump tweeted. “The Secret Service is unable to confirm (in fact they deny) any of the phony Democrat charges which have absolutely devastated the wonderful Jackson family.
