Doug Shoen, a longtime supporter of and advisor to Hillary Clinton, withdrew his support on Sunday. Schoen said he is deeply concerned about the potential for a constitutional crisis in the event a candidate under federal investigation is elected.

Schoen’s announcement comes after FBI Director James Comey confirmed the Bureau has reopened their investigation into Mrs. Clinton’s mishandling of classified information. In a letter to Congress, he wrote the Bureau learned of new evidence he said was “pertinent to the investigation” during a probe in “connection with an unrelated case.”
